Richard has over 30 years’ experience in the technology manufacturing industry, having occupied senior positions in both Australia and New Zealand.

His long and varied history started with PEC in 1990 as the Quality Officer in the Electrical Assembly Area. When Gallagher Group purchased PEC in 1999, he played a major role in the transition of the Cardax division to Hamilton in his role as Technical Services Manager. This was followed by a stint in Melbourne as a Business Development Manager.

Richard was appointed as Gallagher Fuel Systems Managing Director in 2004, and in 2021 acquired the Fuel Systems business from the Gallagher Group, and rebranded the business back to PEC. Richard is instrumental in taking relationships from transactional to being a mutually beneficial partnerships.

Outside of work you will find Richard playing tennis, at the beach trying to catch fish, or supporting his family at cycling, swimming or triathlon events.
